You enter the villa on the ground floor where you will find a coat/boot rack on your right, the stairs to the first floor on your left and then further along the corridor, 3 bedrooms, family shower room, separate WC which also houses the upright washing machine.
There are three bedrooms (2 x double, 1 x triple bedroom with bunk beds and single bed) all bedrooms have electric remote control shutters, and plenty of large built in wardrobe space.
There is also a family shower room with a super modern walk in Italian shower with adjustable shower head , 2 draw vanity until plus extra storage cupboards to the side for towels and cosmetics.
First Floor
When you walk upstairs your first impression is going to be WOW! The views are amazing.
The 45m2 open plan sitting room/kitchen really has it all with fabulous views overlooking the ocean.
The kitchen is fully equipped with all the mod cons you would expect including a dishwasher, tab coffee machine, fridge/freezer with cold water dispenser and a Vorwerk Thermomix. It has a hand-made wooden high breakfast bar and dining area with chairs and a view from the front window of the local lighthouse.
The sitting room has wonderful views throughout with comfortable large sofa with reclining position, 2 relaxing chairs as well as a 42inch smart TV (French channels as standard ) and Netflix.
The huge built in wardrobes in the sitting room houses a selection of family board games and is ideal for storing food shopping.
A high chair, children's crockery and cutlery are available at this property.

The Terrace
A completely enclosed and secure space with a wooden dining table, 8 chairs and large Hawaiian style umbrella when shade is needed. The terrace has a two sun loungers with canopy head-shade built in plus a separate seating area for a your evening cocktail whilst you are watching the sunset over the famous and wealthy island of Île de Ré!
The Garden
Outside in the garden is new BBQ area plus outside showering off facility, wooden picnic bench, lazy chairs, barrel drinks table and washing line.
The sandy garden area is sloped and extends down to the large first bush (you see in the photo located on the right). A fence is being constructed closing off the garden, for this season letting, separating the garden area from the dunes area.
There is parking for up to 2 cars at the property, plus parking outside the villa and designated parking within this quite residential area.
Direct Beach Access
Turn left or right out of the property and just 30 seconds later, your are have two entrances by way of sandy footpaths to access the stunning beaches - just perfect! (see photos)
The lighthouse beach, (where Belle Azure is located), is recognised as one of the most beautiful beaches in Vendée! It is located opposite the island of Ile de Ré.
Hugely popular with both sunbathers and by sports enthusiasts (recognised surf spot), it will delight surfers, kite surfers, windsurfers and bodyboarders as well as paddle boarders.
There is a surf school to rent or take lessons: it is located next to the house (3 min) You also have the possibility of fishing or collecting mussels, shells and crabs at low tide…there is a lock for fish and seafood. Finally, swimming will be accessible just in front of the house.
La Tranche-sur-Mer has received the official classifications of 'Station Kid' and 'Famille Plus' and is a classified 'Blue Flag' beach as a demonstration of the resort's commitment to families.
The beach to the south-east of the town is the calmer and more suited to younger children while the beach to the north-west is ideal for those seeking larger waves and sporting activities, with designated surfing areas including the Plage des Terrières. The large, sandy beach between the Étang du Maupas and Rue de l'Aunis is supervised by lifeguards in summer.
On the eastern edge of the town there is also a large lake that is used for sailing lessons.
Local Sea-Side Resort
The local and nearby seaside resort of La Tranche-sur-Mer does not lack any character!
With its 13 km of sandy beaches, the "little California" nicknamed for its exceptional sunshine, has retained an authentic and family spirit. In summer, the resort lives to the rhythm of summer holiday makers. Families with young children will especially enjoy the long sandy beaches that slope gently into the sea making them safe for those with young children.
There’s plenty to do in La Tranche sur Mer, from surfing, sailing and stand-up paddle boarding, to kite-surfing, land sailing and even paddle boarding yoga! La Tranche-sur-Mer is the top family destination for water sports activities on the Atlantic coast. And if navigating the waters is your thing, La Tranche-sur-Mer offers sailing lessons for people of all ages. There are nine water sports schools in the resort, so you’re sure to find an activity that suits your tastes and abilities!
There are numerous opportunities to walk or cycle in the surrounding area - including an extensive forest area with two very pleasant marked trails to follow (the Sentier de la Casse aux Lièvres takes about an hour and the Sentier du Bout des Cabanes around 1 1/2 hours).
Because of their size there is plenty of space for all activities on the beaches, from quietly building sandcastles to high speed kiteyachting and windsurfing.
The Tourist Information Office has devised a 15 km cycling tour of the town, suitable for cyclists of all abilities. Start your adventure at Place de la Liberté in the town centre before heading along the coast to Parc des Floralies. After a short break under the shade of the pine trees, take the trail through the forest until you reach La Terrière Beach. From there, make your way to the attractive La Terrière centre, then onwards to the La Grière part of town. Next, head over the Étang de Maupas lake and discover the local “optimists” before arriving at the jetty, where a reward awaits you: unspoilt views of Ile de Ré! Then you can spend what’s left of the day on the resort’s central beach before enjoying a drink with your family in the town centre.
In the summer months the town organises special events including fun days, free conerts, evening entertainers, jazz and blues nights, firework displays and night markets every Wednesday in July/August. You can sit with the locals and enjoy 'moules & frites' listening to a band watching the kids dance to their hearts content.
Everything is easily accessible from the villa, and thats why it's HUGELY popular with families as everything is within easy access.
